Few names are as closely associated with Porsche refinement as TECHART Automobildesign. Since 1987, the company based in Leonberg, Germany, has established itself as one of the world's leading Porsche specialists, creating bespoke automobiles that combine enhanced performance, exclusive craftsmanship and everyday usability. The GTstreet programme, introduced in 2001, remains one of TECHART's most recognised creations.
Presented here is an outstanding 2007 Porsche 911 (997) Turbo, professionally transformed into TECHART GTstreet R specification by TECHART Automobildesign in Leonberg.
Originally delivered in May 2007, the vehicle was subsequently acquired by its current long-term owner, who commissioned the complete conversion directly through TECHART. The project was carried out at TECHART's headquarters in Leonberg using genuine TECHART components throughout and is fully documented by the original TECHART invoices, German TÜV §21 approvals, technical reports and registration documents.
Powered by Porsche's legendary 3.6-litre Mezger twin-turbocharged flat-six, the vehicle received the genuine TECHART TA097/T1 performance upgrade, increasing output to 382 kW (520 hp). Additional modifications include the TECHART switchable sports exhaust system, TECHART performance air intake and TECHART sports suspension, resulting in a perfectly balanced combination of performance and drivability.
The exterior was comprehensively re-engineered with the complete GTstreet R aerodynamic programme, including widened front and rear bodywork, redesigned front bumper with carbon splitter, TECHART bonnet, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof spoiler and the distinctive fixed GTstreet rear wing. Genuine TECHART Formula III forged wheels complete the unmistakable appearance.
The bespoke interior reflects the same level of craftsmanship. Finished in black leather and Alcantara with yellow contrast stitching, it features TECHART GTstreet bucket seats, a TECHART multifunction steering wheel trimmed in leather, Alcantara and carbon fibre, yellow seat belts, carbon interior trim, yellow instrument dials including the TECHART 350 km/h speedometer and GTstreet R tachometer, together with the factory BOSE sound system.
Showing only 54,833 kilometres, the vehicle remains in exceptional condition throughout.
What distinguishes this example is not only its remarkably low mileage but also its provenance. The complete transformation was commissioned directly from TECHART Leonberg and is accompanied by its original invoices and complete documentation, offering a level of authenticity and traceability that is rarely encountered today.
